Savvy Cat is Now offering Group Resident Tours!

In these tours you will be able to:

• Meet other people also considering moving to that area;

• Get to know a location guided by a long-time local portuguese resident;

• Get updated feedback on pricing, neighborhoods, and the local real estate market;

• Understand transportation, traffic, schooling, culture & popular activities of that area;

• Get a taste of the local cuisine;

• Socialize and have some quality time with a small group of likeminded people; 

• Have 2 Savvy Relocation Advisors available to answer all your questions for the day;

• Most Tours are a mix of driving and walking

• Main meal is included, snacks and extras are at client’s expense unless otherwise specified on the itinerary

• Tour cost includes insurance

Each Tour is organized around a theme or area, Savvy cat will be providing tours in the whole Continental Portugal, feel free to check what’s in the bag here:

Van capacity:

​​

• MINMUM seats required : 4 participants;

• MAXIMUM capacity : 7 participants;

• PLUS 2 Savvy Advisors : 1 driving and the other acting as guide; 

• Driving component takes place in a 9 seats minivan;

• Van will be fully hygienist. Masks are no longer mandatory but it’s always better to have one;

Tour duration:

• Start 10 AM > Finish* 6 PM

• 8h Tour with meal breaks;

• 2 hours break and socialization time;

*Tours start and end at the same location

Bring with you

We advise you to wear comfortable footwear as there is usually a strong walking component as well as a hat – Portugal is a sunny country. We provide a 50cl bottle of water to each participant but it’s always a good idea to bring your own.

About Children  

These tours are not suited for children – they are long and fairly technical. Children will most likely be very bored as it’s not an entertainment oriented activity - our focus is on providing information and practical knowledge. If you still would like to bring your family along, may we suggest our Private Tour option below for a more comfortable and personalized experience. For the Group Resident Tours, a children's ticket cost the same as an adult.

Refund Policy

In case the minimum number of participants is not met, clients get a full refund. Amounts are fully refundable until 15 days prior to the tour date.

Up until 7 days prior to the Tour date only 50% is refunded. Less than 7 days prior to the Tour date no refunds will be issued.
